Description
An animated anthology from Dave Filoni made up of six episodes. It is the second entry in the Star Wars Tales cycle, coming after Tales of the Jedi, and a year later the cycle went on with Tales of the Underworld. The project was first unveiled at Celebration Europe 2023, at that point billed as Tales of the Jedi's second season; its present title was announced alongside the trailer on April 4, 2024.
The story is split into two halves. The opening three episodes center on Morgan Elsbeth, voiced by Diana Lee Inosanto, tracing her path from the Nightsisters' destruction on Dathomir in the Clone Wars, via her hunt for patrons among the Imperials, to her rule over Corvus in the New Republic era. The remaining three belong to former Padawan Barriss Offee, voiced by Meredith Salenger, who after Order 66 is invited to become an Inquisitor.
All six episodes, The Path of Fear, The Path of Anger, The Path of Hate, Devoted, Realization and The Way Out, came out on Disney+ on the same day, May 4, 2024. According to Kinopoisk, the directors include Dave Filoni, Nathaniel Villanueva and Stewart Lee. The score is by Kevin, Sean and Dean Kiner.
