Colonel Ward

Around 14 ABY Colonel Ward, for whom Din Djarin and Grogu were tracking down Imperial fugitives, was displeased by Commander Barro's death. Under the arrangement with the Hutt Twins she sent the Mandalorian after Rotta, and she paid him for bringing in Commander Coin. Coin's interrogation revealed to Ward that the Hutts were supplying the Imperials with intelligence.

Ward was flying with the Adelphi Rangers herself when she ordered them to destroy the Twins' palace: even as a colonel, she had remained a pilot. One of the Anzellans had come back with the squadron, and it was he who raised Din Djarin on the comm as the Mandalorian held off guard droids in the throne room. While the fighters brought the palace down, Din, Grogu and Rotta dropped into the moat. Later, on Adelphi, where Ward's squadron was based, Rotta did not leave with Din but stayed on to help the New Republic.
