Description
Neel lived on At Attin in a large family, loved mathematics and hoped to become an analyst like his mother Nooma. He agreed to help Wim dig up the mysterious hatch only on the condition that they would not get in trouble with the grown-ups, and ended up with Wim, Fern and KB on the ship that carried them beyond the Barrier. Throughout the journey he missed his family most of all.
Neel was often afraid but showed courage when it mattered. On At Achrann he tried to persuade Hayna, daughter of a clan leader, that conflict could be ended, and when SM-33 went out of control he threw a rock at the droid to distract it until Jod shut SM-33 down. In Rennod's lair Neel found the captain's hidden log, and during the pirate invasion of At Attin he fired on their frigate with a turbolaser from a rooftop.
