Description
KB opened the buried ship's hatch by linking it to her implant, and she also brought the starship's power back; she knew her way around machines. Her cybernetic implants sometimes failed, and since an accident in her past she was not as physically strong as her friend Fern assumed. She lived on At Attin with her two mothers.
On Lanupa her implants failed from corrosion, and Wim, following her instructions, cast a new micro-fuse, after which she became friends with the boys; by then she had already memorized At Attin's coordinates. During the pirate invasion KB, with the beheaded SM-33, took the ship into the sky, broke through the Barrier, sent the planet's coordinates to the astronomer Kh'ymm and asked her to send the New Republic.
