Around 14 ABY the Mandalorian Din Djarin and Grogu chased Commander Barro through Phostera's snowy mountains, and Barro died trying to escape, so the New Republic never got to question him. His Imperial remnant faction had settled on the planet after the Battle of Jakku and collected tribute from nearby communities in return for promised protection.

Description
At Commander Barro's mountain base, the prefects and leaders of nearby communities hailed the Empire at his demand and paid tribute for the protection he promised; the commander raised that tribute and dealt harshly with anyone who objected. The base on snowy, mountainous Phostera was held by his Imperial remnant faction, which had found shelter there after the Battle of Jakku.
Around 14 ABY the Mandalorian Din Djarin, who took jobs from the New Republic, came to hunt Barro: with his apprentice Grogu he slipped into the base and chased the commander across the snowy slopes. A column of AT-AT walkers was destroyed and Barro died trying to get away in an interceptor, so the Republic never got the chance to interrogate him.
