Freeing captive Wookiees on Kashyyyk
Arriving on Imperial-occupied Kashyyyk to find a Wookiee chieftain who knew Master Cordova, Cal Kestis is caught in fighting between Imperials and Saw Gerrera's Partisans. He helps the Partisans take an Imperial refinery and free the Wookiees held there, but declines Saw's offer to join them.
Description
Clues about the ancient Zeffo civilization bring the Mantis crew to Kashyyyk, where a Wookiee chieftain once in contact with Eno Cordova may have answers. The planet is under Imperial occupation, and right after landing Cal Kestis is caught in a battle between Imperial forces and the Partisans, Saw Gerrera's early rebel group. Cal hijacks an Imperial walker and clears a landing zone for the Partisans, and Saw asks him to help free the Wookiees. The group storms a sap refinery where prisoners are held; Cal hopes some of them know where the chieftain is. Once the refinery is taken and the Wookiees are freed, Saw invites Cal to join the Partisans, but Cal declines because he will not abandon his own mission. One of the freed Wookiees and one of Saw's fighters agree to track down the chieftain for him.
