Profile
Head of a Nightbrother clan on Dathomir, defeated in 14 BBY by Cal Kestis and the Nightsister Merrin. Formerly a Jedi Master and Clone Wars general, he fled to Dathomir during Order 66 and fell to the dark side there, later trying to draw Cal to it as well; he also deceived Merrin.

Description
Taron Malicos offered to make Cal Kestis his pupil in the power of Dathomir in 14 BBY, right after the ghost of Cal's dead master had shattered his lightsaber in a tomb. Having earlier posed as a wanderer, Malicos now admitted to being a former Jedi Master who, like Cal, had lived through Order 66, when his own clones attacked him. He confirmed, too, that a Nightbrother clan was under his command.
Twice Malicos tried to lure Cal to the dark side, and when refused he attacked him. Cal beat him with the help of the Nightsister Merrin, from whom Malicos had learned magick and whom he had told that the Jedi wiped out her people, though the massacre was the work of Confederacy forces. It was Merrin who buried Malicos with her magick.
