Description
Eno Cordova's recordings, which the droid BD-1 carried, helped Cal Kestis open the Zeffo vault on Bogano in 14 BBY. Of all the ancient cultures tied to the Force, the Zeffo absorbed the master most, and his apprentice Cere Junda accompanied him on his expeditions. It was in that vault that Cordova hid a holocron recording where Force-sensitive children could be found, a step he chose to take after a vision of the Order's destruction.
The Mantis crew held funeral pyres for Cordova, Cere Junda and Bode Akuna on Tanalorr, the planet to which the compass the master had repaired pointed the way. Cordova fixed it in 9 BBY on Jedha, at the safehouse where he and Cere were restoring a Jedi archive. The next morning Imperial troops advanced on this Hidden Path hub from every quarter, and Bode shot Cordova dead, then sped away on a speeder, taking the compass.
